Quaich
Originating in the western highlands centuries ago, over time the quaich has been the favourite drinking cup throughout Scotland and to this day it is whisky that remains a quaich's most welcome partner. The gaelic 'cuach' means a shallow cup and a Quaich has two or three handles known as 'lugs'. Hamilton & Inches make a range of quaichs from 2" gilded ones that also work as table salt bowls to a dramatic 12" lidded version that makes a beautiful table centrepiece.
