Hamilton & Inches has been handcrafting bespoke silverware, fine jewellery and sporting awards for generations. Our talented team of craftsmen would be delighted to help you create a truly unique treasure.
The commission process begins by outlining the design concept. We then present initial sketches, prepare full design drawings, and produce a model if required. Production in our Edinburgh workshops commences following final client approval, at which point timescales are advised.
For our customers, one of the most exciting aspects of creating a bespoke piece is having the opportunity to visit our workshops and see their project coming to life. Commissioning allows individuals to become a part of the design process and experience first-hand the true skill of our craftsmen.
We have been honoured to create a centrepiece and candlesticks for Bute House (the residence of the First Minister of Scotland); the Triple Crown Trophy for the Six Nations Rugby Union (sponsored by The Royal Bank of Scotland); a silver gilt crown for the Lord Lyon King of Arms to mark Her Majesty's Golden Jubilee; and a number of ceremonial maces for various institutions.
