Since 1866, Hamilton & Inches has been proud to create beautiful jewellery and silverware in the heart of Scotland. As we look to our future, we are striving to preserve our heritage and also provide the very best experience for our customers. With this commitment, a programme of work to renovate the showroom will soon begin. Our objective is to create a fitting home that will last for the next 150 years.

Artists Impression of the Showroom Front

Once a private residence, Hamilton & Inches’ Edinburgh showroom on George Street was developed into a retail space by renowned architect David Bryce in 1835, creating the pillared showroom that remains today. Bryce retained many of the original features, including our treasured Adam fireplace, making it an important testament to 19th century Scotland.

Be assured, these features are Grade A listed and will remain central to our aesthetic. Our focus will be on enhancement and creating a premiere retail space for you to enjoy.

Not only will the showroom be updated but we will also work to improve our customer experience, including a new state of the art watch workshop and service department. We’re also excited to be expanding our Patek Philippe area.

We are delighted to be able to share this journey with you. We will be open throughout the renovations, which will take place from March through to October. We’d like to invite you to share this experience with us, so please do pop in to see our exciting progress.  You can also follow our journey on social media.

We look forward to welcoming you to the showroom throughout 2020.
